As a paediatric nurse I spend a lot of my day bending and leaning over beds, a persistent lower back injury had resulted in pain so bad it was impacting all aspects of my life! Working out at Crossfit become almost unbearable, at my worst I could hardly deadlift 10kg. Following a few months of personal training with Josh, looking at specific movements that were triggering spasms, and massage therapy for tight muscles my back pain has almost completely subsided. Josh has helped me assess how I stand and move in my job to ensure that I protect my back. My mobility and strength at crossfit had increased, with a huge focus on breathing techniques and how I move.
